Brief description

For the new V6 and V8 petrol motors a new line is planned for the DE-conductors.

The logistics planning covers the entire supply chain from the supplier to the client plants at Untertürkheim and Bad Canstatt. The planning is made on the basis of Mercedes Benz’ own production system “MPS”.

All activities were planned under the aspect of a slim production. Special value stream analyses and  resulting ideas for the value stream design are already integrated into the planning in close cooperation with the MPS expert teams.
